I surprised my parents with making milk bubbles today…

Today, we had aunt Claudia and uncle Sebastian visiting us. They have a daughter called Maxi who is really cute and I got to play with her. Ok, I guess she is a little older and so she was more playing with me, but as long as I do get all the attention I don’t mind…

Hmmm, it is 4th of July and everybody is enjoying the fireworks, but I only get to play with toys. Well, I have to say that I really like my new toy though. So far I am not so sure what else it can do, but it plays some nice music for me and it also has some cool flashing lights…

It’s daddy’s first Father’s Day and so I didn’t want to make him feel forgotten.

Mommy and daddy organized a party for me to meet my extended family and friends. There was a lot of food including a roasted pig, but nobody offered me anything other than milk…

According to my mom I am not ready for adult food yet. Anyhow, I think that everybody had a good time, but I have to admit that I napped off at some point…

I also would like to use this opportunity to say “Thank You” for stopping by and for all the nice gifts I received.

Well, I had mixed feelings about this right from the beginning and I guess I was right. I mean I like sitting in the tub and getting some warm water on my body didn’t feel to bad either, but why on earth did they have to wash my hair???

No photos from my first bath either. Mommy was worried about me being in my small tub and so daddy couldn’t take photos because he had to help out. However, you get to see a photo of my yellow rubber ducky instead!

Anyhow, it sounds like that I will now have to enjoy taking a bath every week. Maybe it will grow on me over time? We will see…

I had an exciting day today. My mommy and daddy took me out for a walk in my cart! Since my mommy is worried about me being outside, we just stayed in our neighborhood and walked down to the harbor. Lots of nice and big sailboats there! However, I was very tired when we got back home and so we postponed my first bath to tomorrow.

Hmmm, what is a bath??? Anybody?

I think I like my new home. It surely beats the hospital…

Most of the time I am just sleeping, but I do wake up for food and diaper changes which keeps mommy and daddy quite busy. Sometimes, they get upset with me. Especially, if I pee into my freshly changed diaper right away or even while I am being changed… Anyhow, I figured out a trick to calm them down. I just need to look really innocent and they forget all about it… Hopefully, this will still work when I am older?

What else is going on? Well, my grandma and my aunts from San Jose visit me frequently. They like to pamper me which is good, but I just don’t understand why everybody stares at me in awe. I can’t be that cute, can I?

Anyhow, I gotta go back to my crib. I need to nap some more and I also don’t want to miss out on a feeding.

I going home for the first time today and so I am quite excited. Mommy is doing much better and I tried some formula milk while waiting on the good stuff. My weight is slowly going up again!

Oh, I almost forgot. I also enjoyed the ride home in the back of Mommy’s new car. My car seat is very comfortable and my daddy tried hard not to hit too many bumps in the road to upset me. No need for that though. I am half German and so I like driving…
